Paul "Siro" Sironen is a rugby league legend - an icon of the game.

An enforcer for the Balmain Tigers, NSW Blues and Australian Kangaroos, Sironen finished as one of the game's greats - a damaging back-rower capable of cracking a game open either in defence or attack.

Sironen's record is impressive - 246 games for Balmain (most for the club); 14 Origins for NSW; 23 Tests for Australia.

In our first Turn Back Time - a new weekly mini-documentary exclusive to NSWRL.com.au - Siro chats in-depth about his life in rugby league, his dream of chasing an NFL career (and Jarryd Hayne's hopes too), that iconic television advertisement and much more.
