While questions continue to surround the fitness of NSW VB Blues captain Boyd Cordner, the emergence of Josh Jackson as a potential leadership replacement has given the 26-year-old an air of confidence ahead of next week’s crucial Origin decider.

"It would be a massive honour," Jackson tells NSWRL.com.au, "but I've said it a lot of times before - that there's a lot of guys in this team that have leadership qualities and that have a lot of experience.

"There's a few guys there that could do the job."
