Junee’s favourite son, Laurie Daley helped the Canberra Raiders build a dynasty of success. His blend of speed and artistry was tempered with a steely determination that saw him become a renowned leader for club, state and country. After retirement he coached New South Wales when they finally broke the Origin drought in 2014, an achievement that enhanced his already legendary status.
