About the Position:

NSWRL is seeking applications for the position of Communications & Multi-Media Producer within our Community Engagement and Communications department.

This position will be integral to sourcing and creating engaging content to deliver through the NSWRL’s online, M site, app and social channels, as well as written and video content to support the NSWRL’s internal communication needs.

Major responsibilities include:

Internal communications and multi-media content development;

  • Generating and sourcing engaging content to deliver through NSWRL’s various channels;
  • Writing or sourcing editorial and/or social and video content that contributes to the NSWRL digital content plan and internal communication plan;
  • Provide content publishing support to all sections within NSWRL;
  • Prepare graphics where required;
  • Participate in the management of NSWRL’s social channels out of hours where required;
  • Assist in the digital marketing and/or sales executions where required.

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in digital publishing, content creation or communications;
  • Strong written / journalistic skills;
  • Strong video skills in filming, editing and content creation;
  • Experience in web content management systems;
  • Basic digital graphic design skills;
  • Sports media or content production background desirable;
  • Rugby league knowledge desirable.

Consistent with the nature of the sporting industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and reasonable additional hours as is required to fulfil the requirements of this position. Remuneration is set in recognition of this requirement.
