The NSWRL are seeking sideline officials to act in game day operations roles within its Major and Pathways Competitions for season 2023. This application is open to anyone who is seeking experience in the sport industry or those who want to assist in Game Day Operations.

Qualities NSWRL are looking for

NSWRL are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who have a passion for sport and an understanding of Rugby League. Qualities we are looking for include approachability, adaptability to change, effective time management skills, punctuality and a can-do attitude. This role involves weekend work; therefore, applicants must be able to work either on Saturdays or Sundays.

The Role

The roles available for the 2023 season include:

  • Interchange and HIA Officials

Interchange and HIA officials’ roles include but are not limited to:

  • Recording all interchanges on the iPad through NRL Sideline app during games.

  • Recording all HIA, Sin bins and send offs.

  • Clear understanding and awareness of the rules and processes, especially relating to interchange and the HIA process.

  • Completing the appropriate paperwork and providing to the Match Operations Official to be sent through post game.

  • Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership
  • Ron Massey Cup
  • Presidents Cup
  • Sydney Shield
  • SG Ball Cup
  • Laurie Daley Cup
  • Tarsha Gale Cup
  • Harold Matthews Cup
  • Andrew Johns Cup
