Wheelchair Rugby League
Wheelchair Rugby League is designed to provide an inclusive recreational activity, and to promote fun, fitness and self-development while fostering good sportsmanship in a safe and positive environment.
The emphasis is on participation, and the health, personal performance, social interaction and self-esteem of players.
Wheelchair Rugby League is a modified version of Rugby League. It is a fully inclusive sport, allowing people with or without disabilities and/or injuries to compete together at all levels.
This version of Rugby League follows the same structure as the running game, with variations to the laws to allow the game to be played safely using a wheelchair.
