The Wyong Roos took advantage of not having to share their players with an NRL team in the 2014 season, but all that is set to change with the newly formed partnership with the Sydney Roosters cemented for the 2015 season - and the club couldn’t be happier.

“It is exciting for the future of rugby league on the Central Coast, now there is an affiliation with the Sydney Roosters,”  said Head Coach Rip Taylor.

“There is now a direct pathway to an NRL club, from under-6s all the way through to the NRL, in this region.”

Although Mark O’Meley has hung up his boots in aplaying capacity, expect to see more of him throughout the season as he steps into the new role as the club's forwards coach and for the Central Coast Centurions Harold Matts & SG Ball teams.
