The NSWRL's u-18s competition saw three very close encounters, with only a field goal seperating St George and Perth, the same margin seperating North Sydney and Parramatta, Manly and South Sydney battled it out for a draw, while WSAS only defeated Canterbury by four points. Western Suburbs and Canberra had 82 points scored in their game, while Newcastle and Balmain saw 62.
