The Intrust Super Premiership NSW kicked off last weekend, with the Penrith Panthers knocking over the premiers from 2016, Illawarra.
The North Sydney Bears and the Newtown Jets fought hard for their wins, while the Wyong Roos smashed the Wests Tigers in difficult conditions.
