NSW VB Blues hopeful and KARI City Origin representative Bryce Cartwright has been cleared of serious injury after being forced from the field during Sunday's win over Wests Tigers.

Cartwright took a knock to his ankle and experienced significant pain but scans on Monday revealed no fracture.

The 22-year-old suffered bone bruising which will need to be managed by Panthers medical staff during the week.

There is still a possibility Cartwright will be fit to take the field against Sydney Roosters at Pepper Stadium on Saturday.
