The eighth round of the Tarsha Gale Cup kicked off last weekend, with the Canterbury Bulldogs outright leaders on the ladder after a 50-8 victory over the Sydney Indigenous Academy.

Cronulla had a tight win over Parramatta, Canberra won their match 30-12 against the Wests Tigers, while Penrith knocked over Illawarra 48-28.
