The Newcastle Knights sit on top of the Harold Matthews ladder after a massive 76-18 victory on the weekend over the Sydney Roosters.

Canberra and Illawarra also had big wins, while the Bulldogs were victorious by 10 points in their encounter with North Sydney at Belmore Sports Ground.
