NSW VB Blues powerhouse Andrew Fifita has issued an ominous warning to his Queensland counterparts - if the game is in the balance, he will want the ball in his hands.
The try-scorer of the now-infamous four-pointer to earn Cronulla a maiden premiership last season, Fifita says he embraces the big moment, wanting to be the difference between his side winning and losing at the sound of the final siren.
"I've watched (the 2016 NRL Grand Final) just before the season started ... I feel like I've always played like this," Fifita says.
"Some days you have your ups, some days you have your downs. I'm a player who likes to risk things - if it comes off, I'm a superhero.
"I want that feeling again."
