After a sensational individual showing for the NSW VB Blues, fullback James Tedesco was voted Players' Player by his teammates - and is enjoying every minute of the victory.
"It was great to come up here and get a win," Tedesco tells NSWRL.com.au. "We knew if we stuck to our structure, kicked to the corners and complete our sets we'd come up with the win, so to come up here and do it at Suncorp is a great feeling.
"Woods and Fifita were awesome for us," Tedesco adds. "Our young, fresh forward pack sort of rolled over their Queensland pack and that created some room."
It's now two wins from as many appearances for Tedesco, with the Wests Tigers custodian playing a major role in both Origin III 2016 and last night's win. After performing on the biggest stage, he says it will improve his game for his club.
"I'll take some confidence out of this game, how I played and how we played," Tedesco says. "I'll take that back to the Tigers."
