NSW VB Blues coach Laurie Daley speaks with NSWRL.com.au as he names his side for Origin Game II.
Set to field an identical team to that which trumped Queensland by 24 points in Game I - a luxury not afforded to the state in over two decades - Daley says he's hoping for a settled lead into the potential series-clincher.
"It's great to be able to name the same 17 guys again, obviously they did such a great job in Game I," Daley says. "The key for us is to try and repeat that performance.
"[Naming the same side] allows you to have a smoother preparations in terms of the week, guys coming back in, they know the structure and the systems.
"It's about improving on what we've done. By having the same team, it allows you the luxury of having those guys, being more comfortable in the structure that we have."
See as Daley talks of Tom Trbojevic's inclusion into the extended squad, as well the influence Queensland pair Johnathan Thurston and Billy Slater will have upon the VB Blues' preparations.
