It's the hottest topic north of the border but New South Wales players don't seem too fussed when it comes to the debate surrounding where Maroons duo Cameron Munster and Michael Morgan will line up for the State of Origin decider on July 12.
Queensland announced their Game Three squad in alphabetical order sparking a million theories as to who would replace Johnathan Thurston (shoulder) at five-eighth, and who would fill in for centre Darius Boyd (thumb) for the Suncorp Stadium showdown.
Morgan is no stranger to the representative scene having proven himself as the ideal utility for Queensland and Australia in recent years; his value on full display in Game Two when he produced a stunning offload at right centre to send Dane Gagai over for the match-levelling try.
His form for the Cowboys in Thurston's absence has been nothing short of sublime, but that doesn't guarantee him the No.6 jersey with Melbourne's Cameron Munster also in fine form for his club.
The 22-year-old was at his electrifying best against the Broncos last week and is more than capable of playing at centre or in the halves, but according to Blues centre Josh Dugan – who will line up against whichever Maroon is named in the three-quarter line – there's no point speculating about the unknown.
"They're both quality players but there's no point for us to speculate on who they're going to bring out," he told NRL.com.
"We're probably not going to know until Tuesday so our job is to worry about ourselves and what we can fix up from Game Two."
While Morgan has seven State of Origin caps under his belt, the July 12 decider will be Munster's first appearance for his state. It's a scenario that would daunt most rookies, but Blues winger Blake Ferguson is backing the Storm star to handle the occasion.
"I think he's capable of playing. He's played in big games before – he's played in a grand final – so it's not going to be too much of a hassle for him," Ferguson said.
"We haven’t sat down and spoken about it or anything. We'll see what happens, it's no big deal."
Wade Graham took down both Morgan and Munster en route to Cronulla's drought-breaking premiership last year and knows that each of them will ask plenty of questions of the Blues' defence.
"I haven't really thought too much about it to be perfectly honest but I know that they're two great players," Graham told NRL.com when asked how he thought the Maroons would line up.
"Morgan is an international who has really stepped up at the Cowboys with 'JT' going down, and Munster is a hell of a player as well. He's been in that Melbourne team for a few years now and he's a super player.
"Whatever role they're given they'll be hard to handle and we'll have to be at our best to stop them."
