The good news keeps rolling in for Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues hooker Damien Cook and wife Courtney after they announced the expected arrival of their first child later in the year.
The pair took to Instagram to make the exciting announcement with the newlyweds expecting the birth of their daughter on 4 November.
"So happy to finally share the news that Courtney and I will become a family of 4,” Cook said on Instagram (the pair already owning a dog, Huxley)
The news comes just six months after they tied the knot in November last year but not before having to postpone their wedding date when Cook earned his test debut for the Australian Kangaroos.
It caps off a remarkable 12 months for the Rabbitohs No.9 after enjoying a breakout 2018 season which saw him claim the Dally M Hooker of the Year award while also earning an Origin debut for NSW.
He is set to play in his second State of Origin series when the team is announced on 27 May, although Fittler jokingly threatened to not pick Cook in a funny Channel Nine interview on Thursday night.
Cook will look to help the Rabbitohs keep their four-game winning streak alive when they face the North Queensland Cowboys on Sunday in Magic Round.
