Between the Posts is your weekly update of what’s happening in the lives of our past, present and future Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues players.
Smith and Warner show their skills
Seriously, what can’t Steve Smith too.
A camera caught him throwing a perfect cut-out ball in between the third and fourth Ashes Tests during the week.
Another video emerged of Warner throwing up an impressive ‘Goosey' before he posted one of his own scoring tries for fun.
King Freddy
Brad Fittler is a winner, we all know that.
He never lost a game at 1300SMILES Stadium, and he revealed on Channel Nine’s coverage last night why.
The Mad Cow is a party hotspot, and most players end up there after their game on their annual trip to North Queensland.
The reason Fittler never lost a game there is because Phil Gould said they weren’t allowed to go there if they lost.
Take your kid to work day
Cody Walker’s kids are never too far away from him.
Always full of energy, various videos have surfaced this year of his two kids tackling each other or an adorable shot of them celebrating their dad’s Origin selection.
During the week, Kade was sitting in the stands of Redfern Oval watching Dad train, and the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ media team captured the smiles.
The King balls with Dante Exum
Sports collided this week as Clint Gutherson had the opportunity to shoot hoops with Dante Exum.
Melbourne-born Exum was the fifth overall pick in the 2014 draft and has since played for the Utah Jazz.
Blue mountains getaway
Damien and Courtney Cook got a chance to put the feet up in the Blue Mountains last week.
They are expecting their first child soon, which Cook announced will be a girl on Instagram.
Billy the Kid
NSW Under-20s Origin representative Billy Smith made his debut for the Sydney Roosters on the weekend.
It has been a roller coaster year for the rising star as he had to battle rehabbing an ACL injury sustained playing for the Wyong Roos, but has dominated the Canterbury Cup since returning and got the chance to play NRL against the Dragons.
He scored a try, and teammate Victor Radley was stoked for him.
