Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks enforcers Toby Rudolf, who was a core part of the Newtown Jets premiership-winning season in 2019, has deservedly been named to make his NRL debut against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 1 this weekend.
Rudolf has cemented himself as one of the club's brightest young prospects with Man of the Match performances in back-to-back State Championships, and has shown a mountain of perseverence after overcoming an ACL injury in 2018.
He will start off the interchange bench and play alongside fellow Jets' premiership winners Scott Sorensen, William Kennedy, Sione Katoa, Ronaldo Mulitalo and Blayke Brailey.
Meanwhile, Jamayne Taunoa-Brown will also make his top-grade debut for the Warriors when they go head-to-head with the Newcastle Knights this Saturday afternoon.
