Brian To'o is another perfect representation of the Panthers junior development system and epitomizes exactly what can be achieved when talent matches ambition.
He has worked tirelessly through the grades having represented the Panthers UNE SG Ball Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup, and Canterbury Cup NSW squads before making his NRL debut in Round 10 last year against the Warriors.
He never looked back once he made a name for himself in first-grade in 2019, finishing the campaign with nine tries, nine line-breaks, 74 tackle-breaks, and nearly 2500m in just 15 appearances.
His stunning breakout season came after just seven career games in the Canterbury Cup NSW – enough to suggest he was more than ready to make the right-wing his own in the top-grade.
His previous two seasons in the Under 20's competition were just as impressive, producing 20 tries, 21 line-breaks, over 4600, and 213 tackle-breaks in 33 appearances.
He has also carved his path in the NSWRL's Pathways program, representing the CABE NSW Under 20's and NSW Residents squads in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
To'o certainly has what it takes to become one of the most prolific try-scorers in the NRL in the years to come, and is primed for a bigger and better 2020 season when the competition returns on 28 May.
