Presidents Cup Preliminary Final to be live streamed

The Grand Final qualifier between the Maitland Pickers and the Hills District Bulls will be live streamed directly to the NSWRL Facebook page tomorrow afternoon at 3.15pm.

Maitland have been the shining light of the Presidents Cup in 2020, dominating the competition with their first loss of the season only coming last week at the hands of Glebe-Burwood.

Their attack has been stunning having averaged 36 points per match, far and away the best in the competition.

As for their defence, they also lead the competition in that statistic too. However, they are not outright first, being equal leaders with opponent’s tomorrow afternoon.

The Maitland locals will be able to attend the match too with Maitland City Council major venues and facilities co-ordinator Kelly Baldwin successfully negotiating for the crowd limit at Saturday's semi-final to be lifted from 500 to 2500.

Everyone else will be able to live stream the match on the NSWRL Facebook page.

The last time these two teams’ played was in Round 3 when Maitland won a tight 22-18 contest. Of all Maitland’s wins this year, it was Hills District that caused them the most grief.

The other Preliminary Final will be played at Leichhardt Oval when the Glebe-Burwood Wolves play the North Sydney Bears.

Glebe-Burwood will be on a tremendous high after beating the competition front-runners last week, whereas the Bears are coming into this contest with confidence too after a 44-0 walloping of Western Suburbs.

Much alike the Maitland and Hills District game, there was only four points separating these two teams when they played in Round 2 with the Wolves coming away with the chocolates.

Tickets information is available for this game and all Leichhardt Oval games here.
