Lithgow Bears crowned 2020 Grassroots Club of the Year
Proudly supported by Your local Club, Grassroots Club of the Year, The Lithgow Bears, became one of the saviours of the region during the summer bushfire crisis donating their dressing rooms for the use of showers for those who lost homes and providing food and drinks to NSW Rural Fire Service Crews. Their grounds became makeshift refuge areas for residents, pets and wildlife as fires destroyed the region.
New South Wales Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
