The NSWRL congratulates Ian Robinson after he was awarded life membership with the Community Rugby League Association.
With an impressive resume spanning five decades at Penrith Junior League, Robinson has contributed in various roles including Vice President, Director, Life Member, Chairman and General Manager.
NSW Community Rugby League Manager Peter Clarke spoke highly of Robinson when describing his influence on the game.
“You couldn’t find a more worthy recipient, Robbo’s dedication and boundless passion for helping youth through Rugby League is inspirational,” Clarke said.
“His dedication spans 30 years, and he continues to serve the Penrith District and NSWRL with the utmost care and distinction.”
Penrith and Districts Junior Rugby League General Manager Nathan Mairleitner said: “Mr Robinson’s life, work and volunteering have helped define a solid future direction that can be built upon by the next generation of executives, administrators, players and volunteers in the Rugby League community.
“His passion for providing children and colleagues with education in both on and off the field environments is unrivalled and not limited to the Panthers community.”
