St George Illawarra Dragons have confirmed the signature of Moses Suli on a three-year deal after Manly Warringah Sea Eagles released Suli from the final year of his contract.

The damaging ball runner played 63 NRL games for the Sea Eagles from 2018-2021 and scored 12 tries for club. His best year came in 2019 where he played 22 games and had six tries, three try assists, seven linebreaks and an average of 116 running metres per game.

Arguably one of his career best performances came in the same year in their Semi-final loss against South Sydney Rabbitohs. Suli ran riot down Manly’s right edge and finished the game with one try, 147 run metres, one linebreak, one linebreak assist and 11 tackle busts.

Relive Suli's 2019 finals performance against Souths

The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup season was cut short this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning Suli only featured in two games for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles. Suli proved a handful in their Round 15 outing against Newtown Jets, running for 170 metres and adding one try assist and two linebreak assists to his stat sheet.

The Dragons have bolstered their 2022 roster with Jaydn Su’A, George Burgess, Moses Mbye and Francis Molo.
