True Blue Tyrone Peachey has found a new home with Wests Tigers after it was announced he will join the joint venture club next year on a two-year deal.
Peachey played all three games for the Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues in the 2018 series win and was off contract at the Gold Coast Titans. With experience at lock, second row, hooker or in the halves, Peachey’s skills and experience will be highly valued at the Tigers.
The utility’s signature couldn’t have come at a better time for the joint venture club, after starting five eighth Adam Doueihi tore his ACL in Round 23.
“I’m really excited to join the club and get stuck into work with Wests Tigers,” Peachey said in a club statement.
“I know that I perform my best when I’ve got a strong coach who can keep me accountable, and I’ve really enjoyed speaking with him lately.”
Peachey has 49 tries from 179 NRL games and has finals experience having featured in campaigns with the Penrith Panthers and the Titans.
Peachey has become the latest new recruit for the Tigers behind Jackson Hastings and Oliver Gildart.
