Penrith Panthers have announced the signing of Christian Crichton on a one-year deal for the 2022 season.
Crichton, the older brother of Panthers premiership-winner Stephen, made his debut for the club in 2018 before taking up an offer with Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2019.
His signature adds another local junior to the Panthers roster which boasts Nathan Cleary, Jahrome Luai, Brian To’o, Stephen Crichton, Spencer Leniu, Izack Tago, Taylan May, Robert Jennings and Mitch Kenny.
Before making his NRL debut, Crichton came through the Panthers pathways systems where he was a part of their 2017 NSW Cup Grand Final winning side.

After missing out on the entirety of the 2021 season due to an injury sustained in pre-season, Crichton will be raring to go and will no doubt be eyeing an NRL start alongside his younger brother.
With Crichton re-joining the club, the Panthers boast plenty of depth in their outside backs including To’o, Charlie Staines, Stephen Crichton, Jennings, Tago and May.
