Blatchys Blues tickets on sale for Origin homecoming

Attention all Blatchys Blues fans – it’s time to finally welcome the victorious Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues back home!

Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Ampol State of Origin series, with Game One at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday 8 June the first time the Blues have played in front of their home crowd since November 2020.

“The Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues have been away from home for far too long and we can’t wait to return to Sydney for Game One in June,” NSWRL Chief Commercial Officer Jodie Cross said.

“We’re back playing at our home ground for the first time in 574 days; we’re back in front of all our passionate NSW fans; and we’re back wearing a traditional blue jersey.

“I’m confident that coach Brad Fittler and his team will have the players firing and ready to go so we make this a homecoming to remember.”

Fittler said: “We've only played three of the past 10 Origin games at our stadium, so I can’t wait to watch the team run out in front of their home crowd as it’s long overdue.

“It’s been a tough couple of months for everyone in NSW, particularly with the recent floods, and the connection between our team and the community is as strong as it’s ever been.”

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday 10 March) for Game Two of the series at Optus Stadium in Perth on Sunday 26 June. The last time the Blues played in Perth they scored a convincing 38-6 win with Brad Fittler Medallist Tom Trbojevic scoring a hat-trick.

Blues fans can also buy tickets today for Game Three at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Wednesday 13 July.

The Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues have won three of the past four Origin series, including last year’s record-breaking series win which saw all three games played in Queensland because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
