The NSWRL is pleased to announce tickets are on sale for Country v City at 4 Pines Park in Brookvale on Saturday 14 May with the representative matches to have a bearing on Origin selections for the Harvey Norman NSW Sky Blues and Rich Digital NSW Under 19s.
The day will feature three great games of Rugby League including the CABE Under 16s Country v City at 10.30am; the CABE Under 18s Country v City at 12.10pm; and the Harvey Norman Country v City Women’s Open Age at 2pm.
The Under 16s Country team is made up of players from the SLE Andrew Johns Cup and the City team from the UNE Harold Matthews Cup; while the Under 18s Country team is from the SLE Laurie Daley Cup and the City team the UNE SG Ball Cup.
The CABE Under 18s match will determine selections for the Rich Digital NSW Under 19s team that will play during the Ampol State of Origin series.
The Harvey Norman Women’s NSW Country and City teams are from the Women's Country Championships and the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership. Harvey Norman NSW Sky Blues coach Kylie Hilder has named a preliminary 24-person squad with Saturday’s game to feature nine players from that squad.
