Harvey Norman NSW Sky Blues star Jess Sergis has the chance to complete a winning treble, when she lines up for Wests Tigers against Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership Grand Final this Saturday.
The match will be live streamed on NSWRL TV from Campbelltown Sports Stadium at 2pm.
Sergis already has the NRLW premiership ring with the Sydney Roosters after they downed St George Illawarra Dragons at Moreton Daily Stadium in Redcliffe in April.
The lightning-quick centre then helped the Harvey Norman NSW Sky Blues reclaim the Origin shield from Queensland 20-14 in Canberra in June.
The Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership trophy with Wests Tigers would be the icing on a rather successful cake for Sergis - a former Dally M and Golden Boot winner.
And it will be a unique treble for the 24-year-old as she is the only Roosters player in Saturday’s decider.
Her centre partner with the Tigers, Keele Browne, and Origin teammate Kezie Apps were both members of the losing Dragons NRLW side, so they have an opportunity to grab some club silverware in 2022.
In fact, there are four Dragons in the Sharks line-up on Saturday – Teagan Berry, Talei Holmes, Holli Wheeler and Quincy Dodd – who would dearly love to be on the winning podium this time around.
The other match live streamed on NSWRL TV this weekend is the Round 18 tussle in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the North Sydney Bears.
The Dragons enjoyed a 34-16 win over the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles last week as they keep pushing to get into the top five with seven rounds left.
They currently sit in eighth place and three wins outside the cut-off for NSW Cup finals.
The Bears have slipped to sixth on the ladder after back-to-back losses against the Panthers and Raiders, but they have a strong 6-3 ‘away’ record with the match to be played in Wollongong.
