Sea Eagles re-sign Zac Fulton for two years

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have re-signed hard working forward Zac Fulton to a new two-year deal.

Having progressed through the successful Sea Eagles Pathways Academy program, Fulton made a stunning NRL debut against the Sydney Roosters at 4 Pines Park in round 20 this year.

He is now contracted to the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2024 season.

The 21-year-old lock/second-rower played Harold Mathews, SG Ball, and Jersey Flegg for Manly, and NSW Cup for Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.

In his 28 minutes, Fulton showed he is more than capable of becoming a regular first grader with seven runs for 45 metres and producing some bone-crunching tackles.

Zac Fulton Re-Signs with the Sea Eagles

The grandson of Manly Immortal Bob Fulton, Zac became the third generation of the Fulton family to play first grade at the same club after his father, Scott, and uncle, Brett, played for the Sea Eagles.

He capped off a fine season for the Sea Eagles after taking home the Jake Trbojevic Rising Star award opened to players across Manly’s Harold Matthews Cup, SG Ball Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup teams.

“Zac fully deserves this contract and we look forward to seeing him take his opportunities in first grade next year,’’ said Manly CEO Tony Mestrov.

“He is a very good edge runner with a high work ethic. His toughness and aggressive style of play is certainly not lost on his team-mates.”
