Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues winger Brian To’o has re-signed with Penrith Panthers until the end of the 2027 season.
It’s been an incredible few months for To’o after he helped Samoa to a maiden World Cup final appearance, married his long-time girlfriend and now has his future at the foot of the mountains locked in.
“I’m very grateful and blessed to call Panthers home for the next four years,” To’o told penrithpanthers.com.au.
“I’d like to thank everyone at the club for giving me the opportunity to do what I love. I can’t wait to play for our amazing members and fans, who have shown me nothing but love and support.”
A local junior, To’o progressed through the Panthers pathways systems playing SG Ball Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup and NSW Cup before making his NRL debut in Round 10, 2019 against the Warriors.
Fast forward to 2022 and To’o has played 70 NRL games as well as six appearances for the Westpac NSW Blues and seven tests for Samoa.
Panthers coach Ivan Cleary was thrilled to lock in a key member of his back-to-back premiership winning squad.
“Not only is ‘Bizza’ a tremendous player who has continually performed at the highest level in the biggest games, but he is more importantly a brilliant young man who brightens the day of anyone he comes in contact with,” Cleary said.
“I feel happy for our players, staff, members and partners that he will be here long-term.”
