The NSWRL has been awarded a major Human Resources Award for transforming its employee experience through technology.
NSWRL Head of Human Resources Adam Bowen collected the Thrive Award at the Employment Hero Transformation Awards in Sydney last week.
“It’s a great recognition for NSWRL to win this award, we’re a not-for-profit community sporting organisation and to achieve this award, which had nominations from many different industries nationwide, speaks volumes for the sound management and administration of our organisation,” Bowen said.
“In 2020, NSWRL implemented the Employment Hero Human Resources Payroll platform, which is an end-to-end human resource management and payroll software.
“The program has revolutionised our people management processes with our entire Human Resource operation now paperless, online, and accessible wherever there’s an internet connection.
“Having a highly professional, contemporary, and efficient experience for employees is critical in our quest to attract and retain quality people within NSWRL, which can only be a good thing for growing Rugby League in the state.
“This is demonstrated with our strong participation numbers over the last few years.”
The award caps off an exciting month for the organisation, after the NSWRL was awarded Organisation of the Year at the 2022 Rebel NSW Champions of Sport Awards.
