NSWRL TV Preview | Women's Premiership & Junior Reps Round One

Fans will get a look at two teams making their Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership debut in 2023 – Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and St George Dragons – with the match to be live streamed on NSWRL TV this weekend.

The Saturday game at historic Belmore Sportsground starts at 2.30pm giving the Bulldogs a chance to parade their new team in the NSWRL’s elite women’s competition before a home crowd.

The club has recruited well with Jillaroos World Cup stars Holli Wheeler and Kennedy Cherrington coming across from the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, as well as Kennedy’s younger sister, Rueben, who was part of the NSW Under 19s Origin wins in 2021-2022.

There will be six NSWRL competitions kicking off their new seasons this weekend with all of them represented in 14 games that will be live streamed from venues including Sydney, Cessnock, Coffs Harbour, Wagga Wagga, Canberra and Lithgow.

Northern Rivers, the 2022 SLE Andrew Johns Cup (Under 16s) Premiers, begin their trophy defence against the North Coast Bulldogs in Coffs Harbour, at 10am on Saturday.

Other competitions in Round One action are SLE Laurie Daley Cup (Under 18s), UNE Harold Matthews Cup (Under 17s), UNE SG Ball Cup (Under 19s) and Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup (Under 19s).
