Johnston’s sparkling form in the 2023 NSW Country win over NSW City, where she scored a try, helped earn her a spot on the Sky Blues extended bench last year.
She seemed to find her niche at the Sharks in the 2023 NRLW season scoring six tries in nine games, after making her NRLW debut at the Dragons in 2020. Johnston made 36 tackle busts in the NRLW last year, is a fine support player and off-loader, who also has a 98% tackle efficiency rate.
